On the morning of September 27th, the main forum of "Forward looking Technology and Future Vehicles" at the 2024 World New Energy Vehicle Conference was grandly held at the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center. The conference invited leaders of relevant government departments at home and abroad, heads of international organizations, academicians and experts, and senior executives of enterprises to conduct in-depth discussions.

Wan Gang, Chairman of the China Association for Science and Technology and Chairman of the World New Energy Vehicle Conference, attended the meeting. Qiu Yong, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, and Huang Xuenong, Regulatory Director of the International Energy Agency, delivered speeches at the meeting. Luo Hui, member of the Party Group of the China Association for Science and Technology and Minister (Director) of the International Cooperation Department (Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Office), Hou Maofeng, Vice Chairman of the Hainan Provincial Political Consultative Conference, and Shi Mingde, President of the China Germany Friendship Association, attended the meeting. Zhao Fuquan, co chairman of the Science and Technology Committee of the World New Energy Vehicle Conference, lifetime honorary chairman of the World Federation of Automotive Engineers, and professor at Tsinghua University, released the results of the "2024 Global New Energy Vehicle Frontiers and Innovative Technologies" selection. Chairman Wan Gang presented the award for the winning achievements.

During this period, 3 main forums, 14 special forums, 1 high-level closed door meeting, 3 dialogues, and 3 concurrent conference activities will be held, focusing on the theme of "low-carbon transformation and global cooperation"“ NEV50@2035 Topics such as "The Road to Climate Change", "Forward looking Technology and Future Cars", and "Globalization and Open Cooperation" will be discussed and exchanged through a combination of online and offline methods.
